Todd Humbert

Lead Pastor

Well, I would like to say I got bit by a radioactive spider that gave me special abilities and heightened my senses, but my story is much more boring than Spiderman's. Ha. What I can tell you about me is that I'm not the man I used to be, and I'm not the man I want to be yet but I'm growing by the grace of God. I love being a pastor. It's my "dream job" if you even consider it that, more of a vocation, a calling from God to my heart. My wife, Michelle, who is also called to serve in ministry, has been an amazing sidekick in this adventure of ministry and church planting. By far the most resilience-building thing in my life is keeping up with the lives, personalities, joys, sorrows and disappointments of four other beautiful humans made in God's image that came from my loins: Alex, Hope, Abbi, and Jacob Ray. If you're wondering if I have an educational background in bible and theology, then the answer is yes. If you're wondering about my ministry experience, I've had over a decade to figure out what not to do and I'm still working on that Don't-Do List. When it comes to what I want you to know of the Greenhouse, I hope what Jesus said still rings true: "Come and see" (John 1:39--pretty cool that the angel said the same thing about the resurrection in Matthew 28:6). So come and check out this growing family of friends that hopes to exalt the Name of Jesus above all. Then find your place in the adventure of God's mission and romance of God for humanity.
